Building Soccer Dreams Across America!

If you have ever asked yourself, "Why are there so few soccer fields available to play on?" or "Why are the open fields so poorly maintained?" or "What does it take to get more fields built so everyone can play whenever they want?" then KEEP READING!

There are over 1.5 million children enrolled in soccer programs across the country. 

There are only about 29,000 soccer fields, most of which are private.  With your help, the number of available soccer fields can grow. 

By becoming a team member of Soccer Fields USA, you are taking action to increase the popularity of soccer in America by increasing the availability of good fields open for public use and education.  This effort will help to ensure that America's youth soccer programs are the greatest in the world for generations to come.

Did You Know?...From ages 9 to 13, children's involvement in soccer drops to 62%, and even more for girls. 

You may take great pleasure in contributing to all of these programs: 

  • New Soccer Field Construction for public use
  • Soccer Camps around the country for skill & fun
  • Soccer Tournaments
  • Soccer Promotional Activities
  • Special Soccer Events

PHASE I

We are just getting started!  We are working on a stand-alone website that will be comprehensive and informational.  Now under construction!  We will begin to gather team members and increase our membership as fast as possible.  With a large enough voice, sponsorship from the big companies should follow.  As our membership and pocket book increase, we can move on to phase 2.

PHASE II

Beg, borrow or buy land to start building public fields.  Increase sponsorship and solicit donations, grants or anything else that can move us onward and upward.

PHASE III

Construction begins!  We will probably have to start with barebones fields...dirt, grass, goals, lights, fences and signage.  Our big vision is to create a very "amusement park" quality entrance and educational system around each field that will include instructional TV screens, video loops of soccer news and famous matches, concessions, retail shops and security.

We will identify areas to build based on assessed need, economic data, local support, membership levels in that area, and any other significant data.

PHASE IV

Promote! Promote!  Promote!  Keep building!  This is when we start going for the big project fields in key areas.  This is when we will need key endorsements from major players and leagues as well as major donations & sponsorships.  Promotional events with celebrities, soccer camps and fun activites.  This phase will be critical in maintaining the momentum necessary to build enough fields to really make a difference.  Huge soccer tournaments on our fields will maintain our presence so we can to move on to the really big project.  Soccer specific stadia!

PHASE V

SOCCER SPECIFIC STADIUMS in the United States of America!  Let us not have to share our beloved game with baseball or football.  Let our beautiful patch of dirt and grass not be tainted with odd field markings from other sports.  Let us relish in the goals we have achieved, to have soccer recognized in America as a premier sport.

With your help, we can provide this great country with an everlasting love of the most internationally played game in the world.
